Maggie, I posted this on my blog. McCain was a riot. They both did am outstanding job. McCain won hands down: he played the straight man so perfectly, I laughed until my tummy hurt. He could become an outstanding stand up comic.
Obama's humor is more like a kid laughing at his own jokes and makes you laugh along with him. Don't get me wrong: I thought he was fabulous, too.
The Alfred E. Smith event was a much-needed break of laughter during this tense campaign. I wish politics could be like this more often.
