Thursday Night's Lecture

Tomorrow night I am going to a discussion with researcher and preservationist Patrick Otton. The Patriot Ledger writes:

"Otton has played significant roles in some of the most significant maritime restoration efforts in recent years. He researched and documented the Navy's restoration of the USS constitution, which culminated with the ship's historic sail in 1997."

The USS Constitution? I'm in.

There are other speakers, workshops and demonstrations in the Maritime Artisans series. Information is available at the Jones River Landing Enviromental Heritage Center.
