Kat posted this over at the Castle this morning.
One Man and A Symbol of Freedom
I can hardly write this post. I am equally angry, sad, proud, and filled with something I can't describe because it is all of these things and more.
So very, very true. You should read all Kat's thoughts and the comments. She directs us the The Gateway Pundit for the whole background story. GP posted this vid
which really choked me up.
All lot of people are commenting with a great deal of emotion. I understand, I felt it too. It hurt my heart to look at that man's face and see his suffering. I was angry listening to the school officials talking condescendingly to him. And best of all I was heartened by the young man who shook his hand and stood beside him.
It's not art. But it is their right. It hurts, but we'll be ok.
Then Fishmugger, in the comments of Kat's post brought back a happier memory.
To this day I remember my father's hearfelt "YEAH!"
