What Really Happened In The Middle East

This is a 10 minute documentary. You don't need sound, it's just music.

These are things I know to be true from many other historical sources, for example, A Peace To End All Peace" by David Fromkin.

I talk to many people who could not find Israel on a map and have no historical framework for understanding events in the modern day ME. They hear a few soundbites and they are confused. They look at that idiot peanut farmer building his Habitat for Humanity houses and think "He can't be a bigot, so the Palestinians must be victims."

There are people my age who can't name the countries that made up the Axis powers....why am I surprised that they don't know about the founding of Israel in 1948? Why am I surprised that they don't understand that the word Palestine is a corruption of the word Philistine? That there was no ancient civilization of Palestine?

But if you can take just 10 minutes to watch this video, you will understand why everyone who doesn't see the importance of suporting Israel is wrong. Why everyone who really understands Hamas and still supports them is anti-semetic.
