Wendy, Now That You Live In New England...

....you must make Cranberry Chutney for Thanksgiving
3-4 small oranges
4 cups cranberries
2 cups sugar
1 cup chopped, unpeeled apple
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup walnuts
1 tbs vinegar
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 cinnamon
makes five cups
Cut oranges into halves.
Scoop out one cup orange segments in three quart sauce pan.
Combine orange segments, cranberries, sugar, apple, raisin, orange juice, nuts, vinegar, ginger and cinnamon. Heat to boiling. Simmer till all cranberries pop and stir till he mix is cool. Refridgerate mix with orange shells. Then fill shells.
This is a make ahead recipe.
