It was a sun- and promise-filled day for sailors aboard the USS Samuel B. Roberts, which arrived Thursday morning in the Charlestown Navy Yard, sharing waters with Boston’s own USS Constitution.
Two sailors from the visiting vessel, based in Mayport, Fla., re-enlisted yesterday aboard the Constitution, reciting their oath a second time to continue their Naval service.
About 20 people attended the ceremony, according to a Navy spokesman, including the USS Roberts’ Commander Chuck L. Sellers.
