I do so love lilacs. They remind me of happier times when I was a boy. Just outside of the living room was a huge lilac tree that grew in front of the window. Our piano was also in there, as was my favorite chair to sit and read.
In the summer, the wind would slip through the window and brush the scent of lilac all through the place. It was a delightful time and to this day lilacs always bring me happiness. In fact, my favorite aftershave is lilac vegetal. It's hard to find these days, but it's a manly scent and quite pleasant.
I am 63, happily divorced, mother of four, grandmother of three. I am a registered Republican with fiscally conservative views; libertarian social views & ardently supportive of a strong US Military
I was born and raised in Boston and can not conceive of living anywhere else. I think Brian Lamb of CSpan is the sexiest man on TV. If you want my attention, you have to be aggressive and smart and you have to feed my head.

Wonderful. :) I love lilacs, too. Take me right back to childhood...
