Maggie, I realize it's been far too long since I've visited anyone, especially you. Yes, I'm still alive. A genuinely wonderful exchange with a Navy aficianado named Rosey, which reminded me how much I miss your witty and humorous posts.
I've been on blog hiatus for a long time, primarily because I've been trying to make sense of Afghanistan and find myself firmly entrenched in the middle. I can't, in good conscience, completely disagree with troop deployment.
San Diego, huh? 2-4 February? Please e-mail me privately if you want to meet up and have coffee or dinner. It's an easy day trip for me.
I got my a** back to the gym. I forgot how much I like weightlifting—you know, picking up heavy objects and putting them down again.
