Stepping The Main Topmast

As my readers know, USS Constitution is currently undergoing extensive renovations. Today, we are this far along.

Isn't she beautiful?

You can see more pics of the renovation here.

Do you have a picture of when she was receiving ship? Ugly yes, but so much better these days. If you don't look in the conference room (105) of the restoration building. I quess you alredy know the lady on the top floor in the sail shop is a relative of Robert Frost. If you don't then points for me and somethiing more for the two of us to talk about.

To pick a nit, that's the mizzentopmast they are stepping. Front for to aft: fore, main, mizzen.

@bigsoxfan -
I did not know that!

@Brad -
We are calling attention to the main, not the mizzen

Brad -

They have not yet stepped the mizzen topmast. They are currently in the process of stepping the main topmast. Look at the shrouds.

LT Rusty is correct. This picture is of the main topmast. The mizzen topmast has not even been set aboard the ship yet.
