Eden was as principled as Churchill when it came to the pre-war period. While Chamberlain was "taking his weekends in the country" and "Hitler was taking his country on the weekends", British public opinion was being directed by British 'published opinion'.
Sound familiiar?
To bad that Eden will be blamed for the Suez crisis moreso than his sounding alarms regarding NAZI invasions.
I must not know enough about the Suez because this is all I really know about Eden.
