I think you really should start with an Arleigh Burke destroyer and prove you can take care of that first. Then we'll see about giving you a carrier. Hope you are doing well. Thanks for all your effort on Project Valour IT. All the best,
Ask the citizens of Charleston about the costs associated with upkeep of naval artifacts. Looks like it is going to take several millions just to dredge the area around Yorktown to be able to tow her to a shipyard for overhaul (deperately needed) not unlike what NYC did with Hornet. Take all that and multiply by 2.5 and the magnitude of taking care of a supercarrier begins to present itself... - SJS
Mike - I promise I take such good care of a destroyer. You'll see!
JG - So I should just sneak it up here? Possession is 9/10ths of the law?
SJS - Cost? I live in Massachusetts, if I can get my governor "DeVille Deval" to come aboard.....money is no object! He spends like there is no tomorrow!
Tom - Absolutely!
I knew My Marine couldn't say no to me! I see through your bluster.
I am 63, happily divorced, mother of four, grandmother of three. I am a registered Republican with fiscally conservative views; libertarian social views & ardently supportive of a strong US Military
I was born and raised in Boston and can not conceive of living anywhere else. I think Brian Lamb of CSpan is the sexiest man on TV. If you want my attention, you have to be aggressive and smart and you have to feed my head.
If you want an explanation for the pic, go to this post.

Better find a few ex-BMs who will work for beer....and be ready to buy a lot.
"Corrosion control" is not for the faint of heart, nor those who wish to keep their bat like hearing intact.
OTOH, you might like those "knuckle busters."
