YES!!!!!!!!!!!! Sam Fox!

I love George Bush!
President Bush named Republican fundraiser Sam Fox as U.S. ambassador to Belgium on Wednesday, using a maneuver that allowed him to bypass Congress where Democrats had derailed Fox's nomination
"W" didn't let that cowardly weasel John Kerry win.
Bush Uses Recess Appointment Power to Install GOP Fundraiser Sam Fox as Ambassador
Democrats had denounced Fox for his 2004 donation to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. The group's TV ads, which claimed that Sen. John Kerry exaggerated his military record in Vietnam, were viewed as a major factor in the Massachusetts Democrat losing the election.
Recognizing Fox did not have the votes to obtain Senate confirmation, Bush withdrew the nomination last month. On Wednesday, with Congress out of town for a spring break, the president used his power to make recess appointments to put Fox in the job without Senate confirmation.
This means Fox can remain ambassador until the end of the next session of Congress, effectively through the end of the Bush presidency
.

John Kerry is my junior Senator....to my everlasting mortification and he is a bully! Senator Kerry used his position to on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to exact revenge on a Swift Boat ad contributor. Kerry was punishing someone for FREE SPEECH. Because John Kerry follows the tried and true wing-nut rule "Free speech for me and not for thee!"
Sam Fox can donate money to any campaign he chooses as long as he follows the law. It doesn't matter if 99.9% of America disagrees with what he has to say - which by the way, they didn't!. Backing the Swift Boat Vets for Truth was his right as an American citizen. Sam Fox is supposed to be able to say whatever he damn well pleases Senator. Just as you got to say what you wanted. Free speech is a two way street. You couldn't refute the veracity of the charges, so like that small...... petty...... cowardly...... sniveling...... little....... little man that you are, you misused your power as a United States Senator to strike out.

Senator, you demeaned your office. You abused the privilege. I would tell you that you should be ashamed, but we all know that you are incapable of feeling shame. You are a hypocrite in every other aspect of your life and I expected no less here.

But it doesn't matter, does it? "W" got the last word.

Damn! I love you, George. I will never, ever take your sticker off of my car.

Note to one of my favorite, favorite political analysts, Bill Kristol who wrote a great piece about "W" fighting back. HE DID!!!!!! Yea!!!!! Give him a Bravo Zulu, baby!

Ladies and Gentleman.....I give you, Sam Fox, Ambassador to Belgium!

  1. Of course he can say whatever he wants to say. That's his right as a citizen. But does that mean he has to represent us as a nation?

  2. No, Steve, it doesn't mean he "has to represent us as a nation". It means that making a political contribution to a "527" group is not a *disqualifier* in regard to representing us as a nation.
Do you imagine for one moment that if there were truly some reason that Sam Fox shouldn't represent us that Kerry's people wouldn't have found it? Please!
So, despite the Senator's desire to collect his pound of flesh from someone so far down the chain of perceived enemies it's silly.....despite the resources at his disposal, no problem was found with this man.
John Kerry is completely shameless, vindictive and selfish. I thank God that he lost the election.
