The guy you see in the pic above was spotted at George R. Brown Convention at the Annise Parker for Houston Mayor Victory Party on 12/12/2009.There are many, many problems with the uniform, the medals, etc. People who are far more knowledgable than I are throwing a flag on this one.

ReplyDeleteFor one thing, the asshat is wearing the Vietnamese Civic Honor Action Medal, which hasn't been awarded since 1973. He's also wearing a Pathfinder's badge and several other awards from *years* before he was born -- like the WWII Victory Medal.
He's also wearing a Silver Star and a Purple Heart.

ReplyDeleteI don't understand these stolen valor types... I did my 9 years in subs and have one(1) medal-type thingy (NAM), not counting unit awards or general stuff like NatDef Medal... And that's good enough for me. Why lie and have to live under the ever-bigger cloud of sh** that will eventually collapse on you?
