Ok, Stella Is Going To Have Fits

But this gave me a little giggle.

Pamela from Atlas Shrugged has a post linking to all of the posts she has written on Obama's massive campaign fraud.

A commenter to the post says among other things -
"Little children sing about Obama. Little children sing about Barney..they don't know any better."
The commenter is referencing the creepy video where the children sing for "The One".

*snicker*
Come on buddy! Remember -

  1. But of course everyone deserves a puppy and a rainbow, Silly Maggie. LOL at these links (my tummy hurts...)

    :-P

Funny, though, I was thinking of sending you some Ayn Rand quotes on Capitalism when we were "discussing" Capitalism vs. Socialism. Her perspective does not jibe with today's version.

Wait? Did Ayn Rand just turn over in her grave? Of Jewish descent, she advocated rational individualism and laissez-faire capitalism [libertarianism], categorically rejecting socialism, altruism, and religion. The Atlas Shrugged link does not coincide with her beliefs.

Comment: His endorsements by the most radical Jew-annihilationist elements of the Muslim world. Obama’s stated belief that Jew annihilationist terror organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah, “have legitimate grievances.”

WTF? That's laughable, Maggie. Since we're on the subject of Obama's anti-semitism, I'm gonna let 'er rip...

Sarah Palin had her Reverend Wright moment.

... [Palin] sat in church two weeks ago while her preacher, Larry Kroon, invited a guest - David Brickner, the founder of Jews for Jesus - to spew anti-semitic hatred. [I always found this "Jews for Jesus" a stupid idea: a Jew for Jesus is a Christian, right?]

Here's what Brickner said: Brickner also described terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity. That's shameful. He represents himself as a "man of God?" His rhetoric is anti-Biblical: Judge ye not, lest ye be judged.

And Pardon moi? Was not their savior Jewish? This is ignorance of the worst kind. Have you seen Jews For Obama?

He's no better than the Fat Toad. [You're starting to get the "real" me...] McCain endorser John Hagee says Jews have dead souls. And ya know what else, Maggie, Hagee stated: "those who live by the Quran have a scriptural mandate to kill Christians and Jews... there are no moderate Islamic people..." This is the same guy that calls the Catholic Church "The Great Whore of Babylon." How disgusting. This is a man of God?

I would recommend the National Geographics documentary on the Qu'ran. If people are intent on using religion to motivate terror or violence, they'll find an excuse there no matter what the actual text says... most holy scriptures are filled with stories of war and warriors, and these images have been used throughout history by some members of every faith to justify bloodshed. That's a brilliant comment. Maybe Fat Toad could learn something.

There's also a documentary from 2008 as well. I hope you will try and see them. I know this is a challenging and charged topic, so please understand I present these ideas from an intellectual and academic perspective. I have always been a student of comparative religious beliefs.

Damn! I was so determined not to have fits!

Fit over. I actually stopped by because I wanted to share something great with you. I watched part of 14 Women last night concerning the 14 female state senators. [We should have 50, don't you think?] I hope you can see the documentary.

These women, both Democrats and Republican, have a monthly meeting where they all share their political concerns. I was thinking, "Why didn't McCain choose Elizabeth Dole or Kaye Bailey Hutchinson as VP nominees." You can read more about this documentary at the Washington Post Blog.

Great quote: ...Also noteworthy in the [documentary] is... the only male senator who is interviewed. Ostensibly, [he] was chosen to talk about his role in recruiting women to serve on the Senate Judiciary Committee after the Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill hearings. But... winds up playing the male feminist, talking throughout the movie about the wonders of women and how well they work with each other and how he hopes to see more of them in the Senate—and, wow, women, they are just so neat!

Oh, of course. You want his name. Joe Biden.

    (gotcha!)

Seriously, Maggie, the movie is wonderful. I was reminded of our long comments to each other when I saw how these 14 wonderful women came together in a bipartisan manner to share their thoughts and ideas for our nation.

Are you still *snickering* at me? Good. "Health, Wealth, and Merriment are the best medicine." (Jonathan Swift)

  2. Stella, you are almost as funny as the picture!

I have to go to bed, but I can't pass up a few quick answers.

Which one do you prefer? Apples or oranges? Or can't you decide because you've always got both.

    Brickner isn't Palin's pastor.

    Two weeks isn't twenty years.

Even Oprah took a while to leave Rev. Wright.

Hagee was never more than a photo op to McCain and to even bring it up is a classic red herring since I know you know that's a fact....from your beloved FactCheck.

the point of the Atlas Shrugged links isn't to debate Ayn Rand, it's to say that she and the right blogosphere have been doing a ton of leg work on the phony donation business and finally, finally the MSM is picking up on it.

There was a movie where Joe Biden (or any Senator) schmoozed? I am shocked! Shocked I tell you!

  3. After I got through LMAO... And, gee, I thought it was your beloved Fact Check, too. Maggie, I swear: 14 Women is a wonderful documentary. As strong and as smart as you are, I think you'll appreciate the film.

Yes, about Ayn Rand: but teasing you about her was irresistible.

As concerns Biden, I'm going to out myself right here on a conservative blog. (Deep breath.) Here goes.

I remember watching the Anita Hill trials and the only Senator on the Judicial Committee who treated her with any respect was Biden. No, I don't care if you agree.

So, I've always been a bit of a Biden fan. However, he did help Sen. Feinstein get on the Intelligence Committee and has done a lot to help women gain power in the Senate. Not schmoozing in this case (but it is in some cases). He demonstrated genuine effort to help women get ahead. I like Railroad Joe.

I'm blogged out, but I'm going to eat my apple and an orange. We grow them both here in the West, so I don't have to decide. Maybe I'll have a red herring with my dinner: you know how I love Scandinavia.

Hope you sleep well, Maggie. Best always.
