Forgive the typos - it's one of the four or five times per year Princess Crabby indulges in spirits.
After the Absolut fiasco, I had to find a different vodka. Grey Goose is French. What to do?
The guy at Dowd's Tasting Notes (no links, can't surf) said there was one from Maine.
Jen and I found it.
Cold River.
Good stuff.

ReplyDeleteYou could always, you know, not drink vodka. It being the favored drink of commies and everything.
I'm partial to the various types of whisk(e)y. Scotch whisky is always a favorite, and ironically appropriate for the Fourth, given the rebellious nature of the Scots and their role in the founding of this country. Irish whiskey would be appropriate for the same reason. Of course, good old fashioned Jack Daniels Old No. 7 is always a good choice to celebrate America.
I am not a commie!
ReplyDeleteGood thing I love you.
Cold River is American vodka and it fif a very good job of intoxicating me.
I love you Mikey.
