A Little Something For SB

On December 12th, 1781, the HMS Victory defeated the French fleet during the Revolutionary War. Years before Nelson, she was commanded by Captain Henry Cromwell in the Second Battle of Ushant.

Yeah, it's British history, but for SB, naval history is naval history.
