One week before I head down to the Big Easy......this! I am very grateful that this plot was foiled, but the carryon restrictions? What am I supposed to do? I don't carry on much, but I need a book, a toothbrush with toothpaste, a hairbrush and LIPSTICK! What am I supposed to do?
Uncle Jimbo says this.
John at The Castle says this.
And for something serious, the Counterterrorism Blog says this.
I wan't to know who is responsable for letting these guys in our country! They need to be held responsable if an attack occurs and is due in part to these islamo-thugs.
ReplyDeleteNo lipstick? Oh hell. I'm flying next week too and this is getting ugly. The list of things I can't carry on is getting waaaaay too long.
ReplyDeleteWhile I usually don't carry lipstick when I fly, I still need my carry-ons.
ReplyDeleteA stout metal-tipped cane for my "bum" knee. A CD in a jewel case (with the edge sharpened by a dremel), and, of course, my diabetic kit containing everything I need to draw blood...lots of it.
Oh, and my knee is fine, I rarely listen to music, and I haven't been type II since I lost weight.
But they let me on planes with that stuff...about 25 times a year.
Maggie,
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are coming to visit the original Sin City!!
Are you coming for a conference or just for fun?
