Jen found a Church in New York for Ash Wednesday. They had no heat. How happy was Jen! LOL
Seriously, she said is was very close to being at St. Francis, no touchy-feely stuff.
Lent brings Stations of the Cross. My favorite Catholic ritual. Mentally I am in a much better place than last year.

ReplyDeleteI still have my rosary, though. I also have one that my grandfather carried in France in WWI. My father carried it through WWII, and gave it to me when I enlisted. When my son, Sean, enlisted, I passed it along to him.
Keep your chin up, though. There's a lot of us out here pulling for you.
