Boston is currently in the middle of an upswing in gun violence and murder. There is an ongoing war of words between Boston's mayor, the current and former governors, Boston City coucilors and various pundits and editorialists. The Guardian Angels made a polarizing appearance. The State legislature fights about cops and funding.
But Mayor Menin-Yo (Michael Graham's nickname for the mayor) has his priorities.
Climate Action Plan for Boston
Today, Mayor Tom Menino will release a sweeping city-wide plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and some say it's the most ambitious climate change initiative yet launched by an American city.
My theory? Someone warned the mayor that violence would worsen as temperatures rose this summer...............so he's decided a good crime fighting strategy would be to fight global warming.

Foul fumes from a fossilled fool! Doesn't he understand that the climate of crime prevails in the greenhouse he's been running and in which he's held the watering cans for more than a few life-cycles.
